Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Engineer, Product in Van Wert, OH. This on-site role focuses on Aeroquip Fluid Conveyance products, leading engineering initiatives and cross-functional collaboration to improve performance, cost, and reliability.

You will drive design improvements, validate concepts, coordinate prototypes, and support global teams across the product lifecycle. A strong background in mechanical engineering and project leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related Engineering field.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Within 50 miles of Van Wert, OH; relocation not available.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in product or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of engineering analysis, problem-solving, testing, and documentation.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering initiatives for Aeroquip Fluid Conveyance products.
• Define geometry, materials, concepts, and specs; validate via calculations.
• Coordinate prototypes, testing, and product implementation with global teams.
• Apply advanced engineering tools and problem-solving to improve reliability.
• Manage multiple projects with milestones and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product teams.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Drive product improvement, cost reduction, and technical support.
