Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related Engineering required.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be within 50 miles of Van Wert, OH; Maumee, OH; or Mountain Home, AR facility.
• Minimum 5 years of product or manufacturing engineering experience in industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of engineering analysis, problem-solving, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering initiatives for Aeroquip Fluid Conveyance products, including support, cost-out, dispositions, and design improvements.
• Develop product designs by defining geometry, materials, concepts, and specs with validated calculations.
• Coordinate prototypes, testing, and implementation with cross-functional and global teams.
• Apply advanced engineering tools and performance analysis to resolve challenges and improve reliability.
• Manage multiple projects with clear communication, reporting, and milestone alignment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product management to meet business goals.
• Investigate performance issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
• Lead product improvement, cost reduction, and technical support projects for Aeroquip hydraulic hoses.
• Review test data and analyses to inform technical decisions and recommendations.
• Coordinate activities across global teams while maintaining milestone alignment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading complex engineering initiatives supporting existing Aeroquip Fluid Conveyance products, including technical support, cost-out activities, product dispositions, and design improvements
• Developing product designs by defining geometry, materials, concepts, and technical specifications while validating design decisions through engineering calculations and analysis
• Collaborating with cross-functional and global teams, including drafting resources and manufacturing partners, to coordinate prototypes, testing, and product implementation activities
• Applying advanced engineering tools, structured problem-solving methods, and performance analysis to resolve technical challenges and improve product reliability
• Managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously while ensuring clear communication, technical reporting, milestone execution, and alignment across stakeholders
• Partnering with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, product management, and engineering teams to solve technical challenges and support business objectives
• Investigating product performance issues, evaluating root causes, and implementing engineering solutions that improve reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Leading product improvement, cost reduction, and technical support projects for Aeroquip hydraulic hose products and related fluid conveyance solutions
• Reviewing test data, engineering analyses, and product requirements to make informed technical decisions and recommendations
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating activities across global teams and maintaining alignment with key milestones

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
• Must be within 50 miles of the Van Wert, OH; Maumee, OH; or Mountain Home, AR facility. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in product engineering or manufacturing engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of engineering analysis, advanced problem-solving methodologies, product testing, and technical documentation.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects, collaborating across functions, and supporting product improvement initiatives.
