Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Silicon Valley seeks an experienced Product Engineer with strong data analysis to support new product introductions and production ramp for power management ICs.

You will own product data across NPI and ramp, ensuring readiness for high‑volume manufacturing and collaborating across design, test, operations, fabs, and OSAT partners. The role requires 5–8+ years in semiconductor NPI or manufacturing, proficiency with Python/SQL, and a track record of data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in semiconductor NPI, product engineering, data engineering, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong experience analyzing electrical test, yield, reliability, and manufacturing data.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (Python, SQL, JMP, Excel, or similar) and data visualization/reporting.
  • Hands-on experience working with fabs, OSATs, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Solid understanding of IC manufacturing flows, qualification, and production ramp.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive root-cause analysis and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage product data across NPI through production ramp, ensuring accuracy and readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Analyze test, yield, and manufacturing data to drive quality, reliability, and yield improvements.
  • Support qualification, ramp, and sustaining activities with fabs and OSAT partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, test, operations, and manufacturing teams to resolve data‑driven issues.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision‑making and change management.
  • Support program management activities, including milestone planning, risk mitigation, resource coordination, and cross‑functional alignment to ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain product documentation, including release notes, qualification reports, and technical specifications.
  • Identify and address production inefficiencies, proposing actionable improvements to enhance throughput and reduce cycle time.
  • Monitor WIP and cycle time, providing feedback to operations and engineering teams for process optimization.
