Job summary

WillScot is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to own design engineering for current and new products. The role requires force/stress analysis, CAE/FEA, CAD, and manufacturing process expertise to drive the entire design and production cycle.

You will lead PDP deliverables with engineering, design, manufacturing, and safety teams, prototype on-site, and ensure products meet CTQs through testing and documentation. This is a senior, highly technical role.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Associates Degree in Engineering or related discipline; 10+ years of relevant experience.
Solidworks (or similar)
MiniTab or equivalent
GD&T ASME Y14.5

Responsibilities

Product Design – drive PDP deliverables across engineering, design, manufacturing, and safety.
Modeling/Drafting/Documentation – create 3D/2D specs and BOMs; document design activity.
Product Definition – translate requirements into measurable specs for quality.
Prototyping/Installs – develop prototypes and source components with Product Management.
Testing – create test plans to verify prototypes meet CTQs and use cases.
Program Management – organize PDP deliverables with internal/external teams.
Intellectual Property – assist to draft and pursue IP opportunities and vet claims.
Budgeting – work to achieve component and product costs and schedules.
