Job summary

Zipliens is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to own technically complex product initiatives from problem definition through release. You’ll be both a product owner and an engineer, shaping scope, architecture, and delivery for customer success and marketing.

You’ll build on a robust platform with a strong design system and ensure high-quality, user-centered outcomes. This role sits on the product team and reports to the CTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of features
• Experience working with users or stakeholders to define requirements
• Strong understanding of application design: data models, state management, APIs
• Product instincts and ability to simplify complex problems
• Hands-on with a modern web stack (Python/Django and JS framework)
• Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features
• Familiarity with analytics tools like PostHog and Jira/Confluence

Responsibilities

• Deliver product initiatives from discovery through release, including scoping, design, implementation, QA coordination, rollout, and handoff
• Turn ideas into working prototypes, test with real users, and carry strong ones to beta and release
• Set acceptance criteria and success metrics; instrument features with analytics to guide improvements
• Design and deliver workflow-driven, multi-step features with state, rules, and edge cases
• Identify where AI can reduce manual work and turn ideas into reliable features
• Refine UI: rework screens for clarity, using design system and components
• Collaborate with engineers, product design, and teams to ensure alignment and quality
