Job summary

Zinnia seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to own API design, client onboarding, and technical requirements from kickoff to production go-live. You will partner with Sales and Pre-Sales to win API-led opportunities and guide architecture choices for distributed systems.

The role requires deep technical depth, strong communication with engineers and executives, and a focus on scalable integrations and data models. This is a high-impact, client-facing position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical product management or solutions architecture with API/platform focus.
• Experience owning SDLC end-to-end for enterprise APIs.
• Client-facing onboarding and implementations from kickoff to go-live.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, testable product requirements and API specs (OpenAPI).
• Own end-to-end client onboarding and production readiness.
• Lead integration design sessions with client teams and translate needs into executable plans.
• Partner with Sales/Pre-Sales on API-led opportunities and responses to security questionnaires.
• Define data models and canonical schemas across APIs and events.
• Specify event-driven integrations, including Kafka topics and webhook payloads.
• Define API traffic management policies (rate limits, quotas, IP whitelisting, OAuth 2.0).
• Oversee reference data structures and the reference data engine integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues with engineering and communicate updates to clients.
• Drive release readiness reviews and governance for large distributed teams.
• Create onboarding playbooks to reduce go-live time.
• Capture client feedback for roadmap prioritization.
