Role
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for developing applications and user experiences from end to end that our customers love. Your daily activities will include hands-on software design and development, contributing to UI/UX—working closely with leads, designers, and product managers to experiment and deliver experiences to our customers worldwide.

You will develop technical proposals—outlining how solutions will be structured and developed. Bring those to life through hands-on software development, proactively identifying opportunities and leading the development of solutions from deployment into production, then evaluating their success. You will also identify and address performance bottlenecks within the application and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Expertise in building web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Experience operating, configuring, and running services at scale
• Experience designing technical solutions/systems
• Have shipped large features or entire products at scale
• Experience with developer tool web applications
• Experience designing data-intensive and highly responsive web applications
• Design-oriented approach with a strong sense of aesthetics
• Ability to balance craft, speed, and business priorities
• Deep understanding of usability issues in web applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience building web APIs with NodeJS, especially with document databases such as MongoDB
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving diverse stakeholders
• Ability to write high-performance, reusable UI component code with appropriate testing

Responsibilities

• Create beautiful web interfaces and interactive experiences using React, TypeScript, and CSS
• Build developer tools for users ranging from novices to experts to maximize platform and API utilization
• Scope, design, and lead technical projects to evolve and scale early-stage products
• Collaborate with leads, designers, product managers, and engineers to develop and launch features and experiments
• Build tools and frameworks for rapid and reliable experimentation across the platform
• Debug production issues across services and improve maintainability
