Jabil seeks a Senior Product Engineer in Richardson, TX to own process and product development for production programs. You will oversee assembly from kit to ship and participate in the program lifecycle from kickoff to contract closure, collaborating with customers, engineers, quality, and technical experts.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 8+ years of proven product engineering experience from concept to high-volume production.
• Experience with SMT, adhesives, solders, plating schemes, and coating materials used in PCBA assembly.

Responsibilities

• Review customer BOMs and implement Engineering Change Orders.
• Define assembly methods, material selection, and process development for current and next-gen technologies.
• Interface with Quality, Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
• Provide on-call and on-site production support when needed.
• Translate technical data packages into manufacturing data packages and assembly instructions.

Applicants requiring sponsorship will not be considered.How will you make an impact?As a Senior Product Engineer with Jabil, you will be the primary point of contact for all process and product development for any production programs and/or developmental efforts. You will have oversight of the products assembly from kit to ship while also being involved in the programs life cycle from kick off to contract closure.
