Job summary

Thatch, a fully distributed health-tech company, is seeking a Product Engagement Manager to improve how members, employers, and brokers move forward. You’ll analyze where people get stuck, design journeys, and own messaging strategies across channels, including email, SMS, and in-product interactions.

You’ll use Braze and SQL to test ideas, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data, and measure impact to decide what to build next.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in growth, product engagement, lifecycle/CRM roles.
• Owned engagement or conversion metrics and shipped measurable wins.
• Hands-on with Braze or similar platform; able to build journeys.
• Data-driven; able to form hypotheses and measure outcomes.
• Product-minded; knows when messaging suffices or product change is needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify where members, employers, and brokers get stuck and why.
• Build and test engagement and conversion flows across channels (email, SMS/RCS, in-product).
• Own messaging logic: targeting, triggers, sequencing, frequency, personalization.
• Develop new engagement methods: two-way messaging, RCS, personalization, language preferences.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to implement scalable solutions.
• Measure outcomes and inform what to build next.
