Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years designing software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
• Proven ability to leverage research and data to set product strategy and influence organizational direction
• Demonstrated strategic product thinking at the portfolio or organizational level, with the ability to communicate a compelling vision to executive audiences
• Deep expertise in prototyping tools and the ability to evaluate and advance design craft across fidelity levels

Responsibilities

• Defines and drives the design vision across a product portfolio or organization, setting the bar for quality, coherence, and innovation at scale
• Leads and delivers design projects of significant organizational scope and ambiguity, often spanning multiple product areas or requiring novel approaches with no established playbook
• Translate company-level strategy into design direction, influencing roadmaps and shaping the future of Meta products at an executive level
• Design and champion experiences that set new standards for simplicity, elegance, and usability across our platforms, serving as a reference point for the broader design organization
• Define, evolve, and unify visual and interaction systems that scale across products and platforms
• Serve as a recognized design expert across multiple product and business areas, maintaining deep awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and solve the organization's most complex design challenges
• Elevate the design practice across the organization through active mentorship, sponsorship, and the development of frameworks that raise the quality and impact of the broader design team
• Drive executive-level partnerships with product, engineering, research, and content strategy leadership, influencing org-wide priorities and aligning cross-functional teams around a shared user experience vision
• Represent design strategy and rationale to senior leadership and cross-functional executives, shaping organizational alignment on product direction
