Job summary

Meta seeks a seasoned Product Designer to shape design directions across a broad product portfolio. You will lead major design initiatives, align strategy with executive partners, and elevate the practice through mentorship and scalable systems.

You will drive experiences that are simple, elegant, and highly usable, guiding cross-functional teams from concept to launch while staying ahead of industry trends and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design
• Proven ability to leverage research and data to set product strategy and influence organizational direction
• Demonstrated strategic product thinking at the portfolio level with ability to communicate a vision to executives
• Deep expertise in prototyping tools and the ability to evaluate and advance design craft across fidelity levels
• Ability to lead across multiple product areas and influence roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Defines and drives the design vision across a product portfolio or organization, setting the bar for quality, coherence, and innovation at scale
• Leads and delivers design projects of significant organizational scope and ambiguity, often spanning multiple product areas or requiring novel approaches
• Translate company-level strategy into design direction, influencing roadmaps and shaping the future of Meta products at an executive level
• Design and champion experiences that set new standards for simplicity, elegance, and usability across our platforms
• Define, evolve, and unify visual and interaction systems that scale across products and platforms
• Serve as a recognized design expert across multiple product and business areas, maintaining deep awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape
• Elevate the design practice across the organization through mentorship and development of frameworks
• Drive executive-level partnerships with product, engineering, research, and content strategy leadership
• Represent design strategy and rationale to senior leadership and cross-functional executives
