Job summary

Uptempo is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the design of complex, cross-functional product experiences—from discovery through delivery. You’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape how customers experience Uptempo's platform, bringing deep UI and visual craft while defining the problem before solving it.

You think in systems, prioritize accessibility, and influence direction through research-driven design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience in a B2B SaaS context with UX and UI responsibilities.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership from discovery to delivery.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to ship complex flows.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
• Skilled in creating reusable components and system thinking for scalable products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and synthesize customer research to inform design decisions through interviews and usability testing.
• Translate research findings into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Own end-to-end UI design for complex, multi-step workflows.
• Produce polished, handoff-ready designs with consistent patterns and edge-case coverage.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other designers to shape initiative scope and rationale.
• Explore AI-assisted design patterns and integrate them with transparency and trust.
