Job summary

PadSplit is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape experiences across our two-sided housing marketplace. You’ll lead design from discovery to launch, turning complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences and building scalable UI with our design system in Figma.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data partners to identify opportunities, validate ideas with experiments, and measure impact on metrics like occupancy and ROI.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing digital products for marketplaces or complex funnels.
• Strong UX research abilities and direct user engagement.
• Ability to connect design decisions to metrics and outcomes.
• Experience designing multi-step processes and edge-case workflows.
• Proficiency with Figma and responsive web/mobile design.
• Experience designing AI-powered features.
• Collaborative, mission-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Own End-to-End Product Design – lead design from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Simplify Complex Experiences – make workflows intuitive and approachable.
• Conduct User Research – interview and observe members and hosts to uncover needs.
• Drive Product Strategy – partner with PMs to connect user needs with business outcomes.
• Experiment & Iterate – test assumptions with data, prototypes, and feedback.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally – work with PMs, engineers, marketers, and data teams.
• Craft High-Quality UI – build responsive interfaces in Figma using the design system.
• Build AI-Infused Experiences – prototype AI-powered workflows with AI teams.
