Job summary

PadSplit is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape experiences across our two-sided housing marketplace, focusing on growth. You’ll own end-to-end design from problem framing to launch, creating intuitive, scalable interfaces in Figma and building AI-infused workflows with cross-functional teams.

You’ll combine strong product intuition with user research, translate insights into measurable business impact, and elevate the user experience across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing digital products, preferably with complex acquisition funnels or marketplace environments.
• Strong UX research abilities and comfort engaging directly with users.
• Ability to connect design decisions to metrics, revenue, and business outcomes.
• Experience designing multi-step processes and complex service environments.
• Expertise in UI design for web and mobile and component reuse.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and interpretation of qual/quant insights.
• Demonstrated experience designing AI-powered features and leveraging modern AI tools.
• Collaborative, authentic, and mission-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design from problem definition to prototyping, launch, and iteration across PadSplit's marketplace.
• Simplify complex experiences and make workflows intuitive and approachable.
• Conduct user research by interviewing and observing members and hosts to uncover needs.
• Partner with PMs to identify opportunities and link customer needs to business outcomes.
• Experiment and iterate using data, prototypes, and feedback to improve experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, marketers, operations, and data teams.
• Craft high-quality UI in Figma with reusable components and design system guidelines.
• Build AI-infused experiences by prototyping intelligent workflows with engineering and ML teams.
