Job summary

CookUnity is seeking a Freelance Senior Product Designer for OpsUnity to own the design of the operations platform used daily by kitchen and fulfillment staff. You’ll shape the user experience across planning tools, real-time trackers, and dashboards, collaborating with engineering and product teams.

In this fast-paced, on-floor role, you’ll design interfaces that are fast, error-resistant, and easy to adopt.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UX/UI or product design experience with data-heavy products.
• Experience designing tools for operational, enterprise, or internal platforms (B2B, logistics).
• Strong IA and interaction design skills for dense workflows.
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma) and AI-assisted workflows.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and translate needs to design.

Responsibilities

• Design across the OpsUnity platform across multiple products and teams.
• Design for the floor for fast-moving operational environments where speed and accuracy matter.
• Translate dense, data-heavy workflows into clear interfaces.
• Establish cohesive patterns, components, and standards across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to align on solutions.
• Ground design in real use with observations and platform data.
• Leverage AI to scale design with rapid prototyping and testing of variants.
