Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in product, UX, or interaction design with shipping digital products at scale.
• Ownership of end‑to‑end design within a product area with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Translate research and data into user‑centered solutions across multiple platforms using modern tools.
• Strong portfolio reflecting high visual craft and interaction design.
• Experience designing across platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
• Proficiency in design tools, prototyping, and shipping high‑quality experiences.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end‑to‑end product design for a Membership and Identity area across Expedia Group brands, from discovery to execution.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers to frame problems and align on priorities and success metrics.
• Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs meeting usability and craft standards.
• Contribute to the Membership and Identity strategy, applying systems thinking to connect work to broader journeys and design systems.
• Design experiences balancing trust, personalization, and usability for account management and interactions.
• Facilitate design workshops and critiques, communicate rationale clearly, and mentor teammates.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design across global audiences.
• Build familiarity with AI-driven systems and explore AI/ML approaches to improve experiences.
