Job summary

Radar is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of our location platform, owning the dashboard and product experiences for developers and technical teams. You will transform complex geofencing, maps, and location intelligence problems into simple, intuitive interfaces, shape the design system, and influence product culture.

Based in Flatiron, NYC, you will join a high-growth, design-driven team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience at a product-driven technology company.
• Strong UI, UX, and visual design craft with excellent product instincts.
• Proficient in Figma; experienced with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI tools for prototyping.
• Able to turn complex technical, customer, and business needs into simple, thoughtful experiences.
• Comfortable owning the design process end-to-end, from early concepts to production-ready designs.
• Excellent communicator who can articulate design decisions and influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing developer-focused or technical products is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for Radar's dashboard and product experiences across the location platform.
• Partner with CEO, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to translate customer needs into simple experiences.
• Own the design process from concepts through polished UI and production-ready designs.
• Use Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools to prototype quickly and push production-ready code.
• Develop and evolve Radar's product design system and best practices as we scale.
• Learn from customers and go-to-market teams to bring real-world feedback into design decisions.
