Job summary

Base is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the experience of the internal tools our teams use daily. You will work with Operations and Engineering to design software that helps teams move faster and scale the business.

You’ll develop deep user insights by shadowing users and observing workflows to improve the product before requests arise. This role goes beyond individual features; you will design systems, ownership of the design system, interaction patterns, and product foundations that

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio showing product thinking and visual craft.
• Experience designing internal tools or workflow-heavy software.
• Strong systems thinker who builds reusable patterns and scalable foundations.
• Excellent communication and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive internal tools for multiple teams (Operations, Deployments, Growth).
• Shadow users, interview, and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Proactively propose solutions based on user needs and business impact.
• Own and evolve the internal design system and documentation.
