Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the Visual Lease & CoStar Real Estate Manager product team in Richmond, VA. This in‑office role requires working five days a week and focuses on designing enterprise workflows, contributing to design systems, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers.

You will own user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual treatments, leveraging user research and best practices to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, in-person university or college.
• 5+ years relevant design experience working with a product team.
• Experience designing complex workflows, design systems, and deep websites.
• Ability to conduct, interpret, and act on user research.
• Proficiency designing and prototyping in Figma.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Track record of commitment to prior employers.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs with input from the product team, including user flows, high‑fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Act as user advocate in cross‑functional teams with product managers, architects, and engineers.
• Conduct or participate in user research and usability testing to validate assumptions.
• Create intuitive products using best practices, design thinking, and user research.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to incorporate design requirements and content structure.
• Manage multiple concurrent design projects from concept to production.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns, and documentation.
• Provide mentoring, feedback, and design critique to improve team outputs.
• Measure success through adoption, usability, and customer satisfaction.
