Job summary

CoStar Group, a leading real estate information and analytics company, is seeking a Product Designer for Homes.com in Arlington, VA. You will shape elegant software for buyers and agents, partnering with product managers and engineers to craft world-class user journeys and ship cutting-edge experiences to millions of visitors each month.

You will collaborate within a high-performing product team, contribute to design systems, and advocate for strong usability and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in design or related field.
• 3+ years of product design, HCI, usability, UI design, or visual design.
• Strong skills in sketching, prototyping, and evaluating interaction design.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior designers across strategy, user flows, prototyping and visual design.
• Collaborate with product leads, researchers, engineers, marketing leads, and other designers.
• Understand customer needs using surveys, interviews, observations, and data analysis.
• Set the design standard high, balancing usability with aesthetics.
• Collaborate with the product team to deliver design solutions using wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, etc.
• Contribute to the emerging design system and drive evolution of design practices.
• Elevate team practices in user testing, research, and interaction design.
