Homes.com, part of CoStar Group, in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design across strategy, flows, prototyping, and visual design, onsite with product and engineering teams.

You will collaborate with product leads, researchers, engineers and marketing, translate user needs through research methods, contribute to an emerging design system, and help improve usability and aesthetic quality while delivering wireframes, mocks, and prototypes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in product design, HCI, usability and UI design.
• Solid design perspective to elevate work from good to great.
• Strong skills in sketching, prototyping, and evaluating interaction design.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of cross‑platform interaction design best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to prior employers.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design across strategy, user flows, prototyping, and visual design.
• Partner with product leads, researchers, engineers, marketing leads, and other designers.
• Translate customer needs using research methods (surveys, interviews, observations, data analysis).
• Raise design standards by balancing usability with aesthetic quality.
• Deliver wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes in collaboration with the product team.
• Support an emerging design system and evolve design practices.
• Improve team capabilities in user testing, research, and interaction design.
