ParentSquare is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the end‑to‑end experience for a major area of our platform used by families and educators nationwide. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering and mentor others, raising the design craft across a cross‑functional team while embracing AI tools to prototype faster.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design with shipped web and native mobile work.
• Portfolio with 2–3 in-depth case studies showing framing, decisions and results.
• Strong interaction, IA and visual design craft; fluency in Figma and design systems.
• Experience running usability tests and using analytics to inform design.
• Hands-on AI tooling in design workflows (Claude, Cursor, Figma Make).
• WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility knowledge and inclusive design.
• Clear communication and influence with PMs, engineers and leadership.
• Experience in EdTech, K–12 or contexts where buyers and end users differ.
• Experience multilingual or low-literacy user design.
• Prototype in code (React or HTML/CSS) with AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for a product area from discovery to shipped experience.
• Define problem statements before exploring solutions; push back when needed.
• Turn complex workflows (messaging, forms, payments) into simple experiences.
• Collaborate with UX Research, Customer Success and Support to learn and decide.
• Design accessible, translation-ready experiences for multilingual users.
• Contribute to the design system and deliver production-ready work.
• Prototype with AI tools and design AI-powered features for clarity.
• Present decisions in Design Crit and with stakeholders; partner with engineers.
• Mentor other designers to raise craft across the team.
