Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Product Designer to evolve the Earning Experience in our consumer mobile app. You will own end-to-end design from problem definition through launch, working with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and business stakeholders to balance user value and business goals.

In the first year, you’ll strengthen design patterns, contribute across surfaces, and mentor juniors while delivering measurable improvements to ads experiences and earning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with strong interaction and visual craft.
• Consumer-facing mobile product design experience is required.
• End-to-end ownership from definition to launch and iteration.
• Proven ability to drive measurable improvements through thoughtful design.
• Evidence-led approach using research and data to identify opportunities.
• Ability to work within and extend established design systems.
• Flexibility to move between high-level product thinking and detailed execution.
• Strong partnership with Product and Engineering, balancing constraints.
• Independent but collaborative with ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Rapid prototyping to quickly communicate and test ideas.
• Clear communication of decisions, trade-offs, and rationale.
• Willingness to mentor junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of consumer experiences from problem definition through launch, experimentation, and iteration.
• Improve existing experiences by simplifying, optimizing, and enhancing user journeys.
• Translate user, advertiser, and business needs into clear, cohesive experiences.
• Prototype at the right fidelity to test interactions and move ideas forward.
• Apply research, data, and experimentation to evaluate ideas and measure impact.
• Develop patterns for sponsored content within the Fetch design system.
• Strengthen earning experience patterns and help users discover brands and offers.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple workstreams independently and communicate decisions clearly.
• Support the team with constructive feedback and mentorship for junior designers.
