Job summary

Fetch is seeking a Principal Product Designer to shape the long-term experience for discovery, understanding, and earning opportunities. You will lead the connected experiences across Home, Search, Navigation, and Earnings to work as one clear system.

You will own the experience quality and outcomes, establishing principles, patterns, and decision frameworks, while partnering with Product and Engineering on strategy, roadmap, and investment decisions as a senior IC.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product design experience.
• Track record leading multi-quarter product initiatives across multiple teams/surfaces.
• Experience owning measurable customer and business outcomes for a broad product area.
• Deep skill in information architecture, navigation, discovery, and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-quarter initiatives across Home, Search, Navigation, and Earnings; ensure cohesion as one earning experience.
• Set the architecture for the earning journey: information hierarchy, navigation, and surface roles.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify high-value opportunities and shape roadmap/priorities.
• Create frameworks balancing user value, business goals, tech constraints, personalization, experimentation, and trust.
• Define experimentation with earning opportunities and rapid learning to improve engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with Research to uncover unmet needs and validate new directions.
• Raise usability, accessibility, interaction quality, and design-system consistency.
• Develop reusable patterns and tools to improve quality and velocity across teams.
• Communicate design strategy through writing and dialogue to align Product and Engineering.
• Mentor other designers and raise overall critique quality and decision-making.
