Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Developer Foundations team. You will shape end-to-end experiences for developers building on Coinbase, owning the Developer Portal, API dashboards, and onboarding flows.

You will lead design system contributions, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive research and usability testing with external developers. Expect to craft AI-powered features and maintain design specs in Figma for scalable implementation.

Qualifications

5+ years in product design with 2+ years building developer tools.
End-to-end design ownership for multi-surface products.
Experience maintaining or contributing to design systems.
Strong proficiency in Figma for delivery.
Evidence of integrating user research into shipped outcomes.
Experience applying responsible AI to design workflows.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design for the Developer Portal, including docs, API dashboards, onboarding.
Lead design system contributions for developer-facing surfaces.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations to reduce friction in the developer journey and ship improvements.
Drive user research and usability testing with external developers.
Shape AI-powered features such as intelligent search, contextual guidance, and code generation experiences.
Create design specs and prototypes in Figma serving as the source of truth for engineering.
