Job summary

Meta is seeking a Product Designer to shape experiences across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and more. You will own end-to-end design for large, ambiguous projects, collaborating with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to deliver high-quality interfaces.

You will translate broad ideas into valuable user experiences, contribute to visual systems, and mentor teammates while exploring AI-driven design and responsible practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience designing complex software products end-to-end with focus on UX, interaction and visual design that meet business objectives.
• Experience conducting complex research studies and driving business growth through design-led innovation.
• Experience leading end-to-end development efforts, working with Cross Functional Partners (XFN) to develop design roadmaps and make high-impact decisions balancing user needs with business growth.
• Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques, including functional prototypes or using emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Leads and delivers design projects of large and/or ambiguous scope.
• Turn broad, conceptual ideas into useful and valuable experiences for 2B+ users.
• Design flows and interfaces that simplify complex actions.
• Develop visual systems and define new experiences or layouts.
• Contribute to strategic decisions around future FB product directions.
• Provide and solicit feedback to raise design quality, while mentoring others.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee product UX from conception to launch.
