Instagram is seeking a Senior Product Designer for IG Projects to lead end-to-end design work for AI-native product development in San Francisco. This onsite role spans prototyping agents, design review automation, org memory, and collaborative experiences.

You will define the vision for scaling from early alpha efforts to tooling used daily across teams, creating one coherent system that connects prototyping, review, memory, and collaboration while establishing the design vision and quality bar

Qualifications

• You have 12+ years of product design experience with impact on multi-surface systems.
• Portfolio shows end-to-end ownership for complex product ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Own the north star for an end-to-end system scaling from alpha to org-wide tooling.
• Shape the org memory and context system with scalable information architecture.
• Champion craft, quality, and AI-generated outputs across surfaces and patterns.
• Set design vision for new products or platforms at significant scale.
• Lead across AI capabilities, platform infra, design systems, and workflows.
• Apply AI-native thinking to information architecture and agent behaviors.
