Job summary

SandboxAQ is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the central Design team. You will shape how people build, evaluate, and trust AI agents across open-source and enterprise products, balancing power, privacy, control, and speed.

You will design for varied audiences—from command-line developers to security leads—creating coherent experiences across CLI, web, and documentation while advancing a scalable design system.

Qualifications

• Experience designing for complex technical domains and multi-audience products.
• Strong understanding of AI-driven products, agentic interfaces, and developer tools.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into concrete design opportunities and hypotheses.

Responsibilities

• Drive product vision and direction with Product and Engineering to define what should be built and how it should work, framing problems into opportunities.
• Design and prototype in code to accelerate decisions and align the team with engineers early on.
• Own visual and interaction design across surfaces (CLI, web, console, onboarding, documentation) and evolve a design system.
• Ground decisions in evidence: conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze product analytics.
• Collaborate across the org-wide design function and coordinate with other Business Units; travel occasionally.
