Job summary

SandboxAQ is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the central Design team, reporting to the VP of Design. You will shape how users build, evaluate, and trust AI agents across developer tools and enterprise systems.

You will design for command-line, web, and console surfaces, create cohesive experiences, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and evolve a design system with broad internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building interfaces for complex technical domains such as developer tools, enterprise, security, or AI.
• Strong understanding of AI agentic workflows and systems.
• Fluency with design tools (Figma) and ability to prototype in code.
• Hands-on user research experience (usability studies, surveys, contextual inquiry).
• Proven ability to communicate design concepts to multi-disciplinary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive product vision with Product and Engineering to define what should be built and how it should work.
• Design and prototype in code to accelerate decisions and align teams with engineers.
• Own visual and interaction design across surfaces (CLI, web, console) and evolve a design system.
• Ground decisions in evidence from workshops, interviews, usability testing, and analytics.
