Job summary

Outtake seeks a senior product designer to join as the third designer and rapidly own design for a product area within a high-ownership, decentralized org. You will collaborate with product engineers and deployment leads to shape direction, not just execution, tackling novel UX challenges around managing fleets of autonomous agents and multi-layered data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally at early-stage or high-growth companies.
• Comfort designing technically complex products with deep domain understanding.
• A deeply product-minded, user-driven approach that partners with Product Deployment and Engineering.
• Resourcefulness and speed with sound judgment on when to ship and iterate.
• Low ego and openness to give and receive feedback.
• Able to work collaboratively while navigating ambiguity and taking ownership.
• Experience with AI, automation, or agent-based systems is a plus.
• Background in cybersecurity, trust & safety, or risk-related products is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities with product engineers and deployment leads to decide what's worth building.
• Design how users manage fleets of autonomous agents, decide when to intervene, and investigate threats.
• Own the experience end-to-end from workflows to visuals for clarity and usability.
• Turn questions into insights and concrete design options and prototypes.
• Find simpler solutions, tradeoffs, and work with engineers to ship improvements.
• Build direct relationships with customers for design partnerships and feedback channels.
• Run research, test ideas, and gather evidence to inform decisions.
• Create tools and practices that help designers, engineers, and PMs move faster and evolve the design system.
