Job summary

MaintainX in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape an AI-first product experience across web and mobile, partnering with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to simplify complex frontline workflows.

You will own design from problem framing to high-fidelity delivery, craft AI-powered features for maintenance technicians and facility managers, and contribute to a scalable design system while maintaining strong visual craft.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features for real users solving real problems.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design with typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• A systems thinker who builds for reuse and scales design decisions across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to articulate design intent across teams.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines exceptional craft with deep product thinking to shape MaintainX’s AI-first product experience. You’ll lead end-to-end design across web and mobile, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and designers to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive tools for frontline workers.

What You'll Do

• Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
• Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality across the product lifecycle.
• Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.

About You

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features such as natural language interfaces, agents, and predictive insights for real users solving real problems.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• A systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.
• An expert level of English, both spoken and written, is required, as the individual will need to work across multiple teams and present work to executive stakeholders.
