Job summary

MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer who blends craft with product thinking to shape AI-first experiences across web and mobile, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and designers to turn complex workflows into intuitive tools for frontline workers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features (NLU, agents, predictive insights) for real users.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• A systems thinker who builds for reuse and scales design decisions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to articulate design intent and influence peers.
• Expert English, spoken and written, to present work to executives.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines exceptional craft with deep product thinking to shape MaintainX’s AI‑first product experience. You’ll lead end-to-end design across web and mobile, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and designers to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive tools for frontline workers.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end design for AI-powered product surfaces across web and mobile — from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
• Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity.
• Translate ambiguous, fast-moving AI problem spaces into clear, testable design solutions in close partnership with product and engineering.
• Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
• Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality across the product lifecycle.
• Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.

About You

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Hands‑on experience designing AI‑powered features such as natural language interfaces, agents, and predictive insights for real users solving real problems.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• A systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.
• An expert level of English, both spoken and written, is required, as the individual will need to work across multiple teams and present work to executive stakeholders.
