Job summary

MaintainX, now part of Autodesk, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape an AI-first product experience for frontline workers across web and mobile. You will own end-to-end design, partnering with product managers, engineers, and designers to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive tools.

You’ll influence design direction by translating ambiguous AI challenges into testable solutions, building reusable patterns, and contributing to a scalable design system.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features such as natural language interfaces, agents, and predictive insights.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• A systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and scales design decisions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent and influence cross-functional peers.
• Expert level of English, both spoken and written, is required across multiple teams and executive stakeholders.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines exceptional craft with deep product thinking to shape MaintainX’s AI-first product experience. You’ll lead end-to-end design across web and mobile, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and designers to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive tools for frontline workers.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end design for AI-powered product surfaces across web and mobile — from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
• Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity.
• Translate ambiguous, fast-moving AI problem spaces into clear, testable design solutions in close partnership with product and engineering.
• Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
• Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality across the product lifecycle.
• Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.

About You

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.

• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• A systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.
• An expert level of English, both spoken and written, is required, as the individual will need to work across multiple teams and present work to executive stakeholders.
