Job summary

MaintainX, the AI-powered maintenance and asset platform, is seeking a senior product designer to shape complex surfaces for web and mobile and to drive consistency across products.

You will craft AI-enabled workflows for frontline users, contribute to the design system, and communicate design rationale to stakeholders while upholding accessibility and high craft.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Excellent visual and interaction design with strong design system and handoff practices.
• Experience designing for AI and data-rich experiences.
• A systems thinker who scales design across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to articulate design intent and influence peers.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces across web and mobile, from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
• Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity.
• Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
• Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality and accessibility across the product lifecycle.
• Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.

About You

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms. You've designed for complexity, not just simplicity.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion with strong design system and handoff practices.
• Experience designing for AI and data-rich experiences.
• You're a systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.
