Job summary

Stensul is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design across the platform, shaping strategy with customer insights and data. You will conduct usability tests, craft flows and high-fidelity visuals, and work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver production-ready UX solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showing strong visual craft, sound interaction design, and real business impact in B2B SaaS products.
• Experience using AI tools like Claude to support design workflows with strong judgment on value of AI vs human craft.
• Comfortable working across the full design stack: UI design, interaction design, UX problem solving, information architecture, research, and design strategy.
• Experience conducting usability tests and customer research and using insights to improve design solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate rationale to engineers, PMs, or executives.
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to create compelling narratives about customer needs.
• Familiarity designing and contributing to a design system and knowing when to advocate for change.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration and aligning partners to maintain momentum.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for the Stensul platform, from early concepts and user flows to production-ready UX solutions.
• Shape product strategy by identifying opportunities and proposing creative solutions backed by customer insights and data.
• Plan and conduct user interviews and usability tests, synthesize learnings, and iterate quickly.
• Create flows, functional prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals communicating clearly and keeping the team aligned.

Position Overview

We're looking for a well-rounded Senior Product Designer who excels at distilling complex problems into delightful, holistic product experiences. Someone who has a strong visual point of view, is capable of simplifying complexity, and who loves generating ideas with a cross-functional team.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end design for the Stensul platform, from early concepts and user flows to polished, production-ready UX solutions, holding a high bar for quality at every stage.
• Shape product strategy by identifying opportunities, proposing creative solutions, and building a clear point of view backed by customer insights, data, and industry trends.
• Plan and conduct user interviews and usability tests, synthesize what you learn, and iterate quickly, making sure designs are grounded in how real users and agentic systems actually work.
• Create flows, functional prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that communicate clearly and keep the team moving toward solutions.
• Work openly and partner closely with product managers and engineers throughout the design process, not just at handoff, to ensure quality UX solutions find their way into production.
• Contribute to the Stensul design system and advocate for its adoption to ensure product experiences are consistent, scalable, and accessible.

What You’ll Need

• 6+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that shows strong visual craft, sound interaction design, and real business impact in B2B SaaS products.
• Experience using AI tools like Claude to support design workflows (e.g., generating artifacts, prototyping), with strong judgment on where AI adds value and where human craft remains essential.
• Comfortable working across the full design stack: UI design, interaction design, UX problem solving, information architecture, research, and design strategy.
• Experience conducting usability tests and customer research and using those insights to make concrete improvements to your design solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate a clear rationale about why a design decision was made and tailor that story appropriately to an engineer, a PM, or an executive stakeholder.
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to create compelling narratives about the needs of our customers.
• Familiarity designing and contributing to a design system, knowing when to work within existing constraints and when to advocate for change.
• A track record of collaborating cross-functionally and bringing your partners into alignment to keep up team momentum.

Salary information: The estimated base salary for this position is $175,000-$190,000 USD. Additionally, we offer both significant equity and comprehensive benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
