Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist to partner with the Data Cloud business. You will unlock data insights tied to strategic execution, diving into raw business data and delivering opinionated, decision-ready conclusions.

You will become a subject-matter expert in Workday Data Cloud’s data landscape, collaborating with executives and engineers to enable fast, data-driven decisions. You will translate business questions into structured analyses, produce narrative insights, and help

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in advanced analytics or data science.
• Experience simplifying complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in autonomous, matrixed environments.
• 5+ years in business/product analytics or related field.
• 5+ years experience with enterprise BI platforms (Tableau, Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Serve as analytics domain expert for Workday Data Cloud.
• Partner with GTM and Product to create end-to-end business views.
• Translate complex data models into narratives and visuals.
• Work with SVP/GM-level stakeholders to answer high-velocity questions.
• Translate questions into concise, decision-ready conclusions.
• Support pricing analytics and consumption-based models.
• Identify data gaps and build necessary instrumentation.
• Contribute curated data assets back to knowledge base.
• Design internal data connections with Product and Eng teams.
• Leverage ETL and data-processing expertise across pipelines.
• Demonstrate autonomy in solving cross-functional challenges.
