Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or product ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience with data recordkeeping platforms, reporting systems, and application designs.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, OBIEE, and Power BI.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and structuring.
• Experience with data stores like data lakes and data warehouses; cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.
• Experience with data governance and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders, product managers, and technology leaders to identify data problems and priorities.
• Analyze current system behavior and define future-state requirements.
• Share insights using written, verbal, and visual formats.
• Synthesize inputs to produce actionable insights amidst ambiguity.
• Analyze data movement through job flows to identify issues and dependencies.
• Use dimensional, relational, and unstructured modeling to support data architecture.
• Document data lineage from origination to consumption.
• Recommend improvements based on data-driven insights and modeling approaches.
• Influence colleagues and foster collaboration without formal authority.
• Stay current on industry trends in reporting, data analysis, and process optimization.
• Suggest enhancements to data consumption methods, technologies, and workflows.
