Job summary

BD is seeking a Senior Product Cyber Security Engineer to own cybersecurity deliverables for assigned software products end to end, including threat modeling, SBOMs, and risk assessments.

You will work with R&D, Software, DevOps, Regulatory Affairs and QA to plan security activities for each release, coordinate tests, and document for FDA submissions and customer assurance packages. This is a remote role within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity deliverables for product releases end to end.
• Lead STRIDE threat modeling sessions with product teams.
• Manage SBOMs and vulnerability management across builds.
• Coordinate penetration tests with corporate team and remediation.
• Prepare cybersecurity content for regulatory submissions (FDA/IVDR) and customer assurance.
• Automate SBOM generation and security reporting in pipelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field

10+ years of experience in software security or cybersecurity engineering

Software engineering fluency, build systems & CI/CD understanding

Threat modeling (STRIDE) & CVSS scoring

Static analysis & software composition analysis tools

SBOM formats: CycloneDX/ SPDX

Formal security deliverables for audits/regulatory submissions

Strong written communication in English
