Early Warning Services LLC in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Counsel to advise on cutting-edge payment solutions across the product life cycle and cross-border initiatives.

You will partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, Strategy and owner banks to solve regulatory challenges in the banking payments space. You will draft disclosures, review contracts, and guide innovation while balancing risk and business objectives, with strong collaboration across teams and supervision of

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; admission to Arizona or another State bar.
• Eight or more years’ of in-house or corporate counsel experience, with strong background advising financial institutions or financial services companies on compliance with consumer financial services and privacy laws and regulations.
• Ability to learn new substantive areas of the law.
• Significant expertise advising financial services on AML, sanctions, data privacy, and consumer protection regulations.
• Experience with payments, cross-border money movement, digital assets, blockchain or related fintech.
• Strong business and product acumen balancing innovation with regulatory risk.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage outside counsel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to high professional ethics and maintaining licensing.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as first-line legal counsel to the product team on all matters.
• Interpret and apply U.S. and international payment, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
• Advise on cross-border payment and digital asset solutions with pragmatic legal guidance.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, risk and strategy on new solutions.
• Draft disclosures, terms of use and public-facing documents.
• Monitor regulatory developments and develop practical policies and guardrails.
• Liaise with Legal and Compliance to support the business unit.
• Supervise outside counsel and assist with corporate governance.
