Early Warning Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Product Counsel to advise on complex payments and digital asset initiatives across the product lifecycle. Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; bar admission.
• Eight or more years' in-house or corporate counsel experience in financial services.
• Ability to learn new substantive areas of the law.
• Experience advising on AML, sanctions, data privacy, and consumer protection regulations.
• Experience with evolving regulatory frameworks in payments, digital assets, or related infrastructure.
• Strong business and product acumen; balance innovation with regulatory risk.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first-line legal counsel to the product team on legal matters arising in the business unit.
• Interpret and apply U.S. and international legal and regulatory frameworks for payments, digital assets, and privacy.
• Guide launches and scaling of cross-border payment and digital asset solutions with risk-based guidance.
• Advise on digital assets regulations.
• Assist drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, risk, and strategy teams on payment solutions.
• Draft, review, and approve public disclosures, terms of use, and other public-facing documents.
• Develop practical policies and guardrails for new products and settlement models.
• Advise on contract language for business objectives and cross-border regulatory considerations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial relationships with partners, sales, and suppliers.
• Supervise outside counsel and junior attorneys as needed.
• Assist with corporate governance and risk management.
