Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join the Product Compliance team. The role focuses on day-to-day reviews of new products and changes, ensuring timely, risk-based assessments while enabling commercially viable outcomes.

You will partner with Product, Engineering and Legal to implement practical controls across our global product suite. You will guide assessments across regulatory perimeter, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC and consumer protection, balancing rigorous compliance with business

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Compliance, Legal or Risk in financial services, fintech, payments or crypto.
• Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, economics, engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in product compliance, regulatory advisory or product risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of digital-asset industry and crypto products.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical product requirements and controls.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled technology to maintain risk assessment standards.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day compliance reviews of new products, features, market expansions and material changes across OKX's global product suite.
• Review product requirements, technical docs, user journeys, onboarding flows, trading mechanics, rewards, disclosures and processes.
• Apply a risk-based waterfall to distinguish blockers from risks addressable by controls.
• Conduct risk assessments covering regulatory perimeter, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, promotions, trading, data privacy and third-party risk.
• Produce clear, concise compliance recommendations with risks, mitigants and escalation routes.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Central Compliance and local teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Maintain complete documentation and audit trails for reviews and decisions.
• Support post-launch monitoring, control testing and remediation with Audit and other teams.
• Promote compliance-by-design and train product/engineering teams on framework and requirements.
• Support special projects and priority launches in a fast-paced environment.
