Job summary

OKX is seeking a Market Surveillance Analyst to join our Compliance team in New York. The role focuses on day-to-day review and investigation of potential market abuse, using surveillance tools and trading data to produce timely, well-reasoned investigations with clear evidence.

You will work with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to support a robust surveillance framework and maintain audit-ready records in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years in market surveillance, trade surveillance, or closely related field.
• Familiarity with end-to-end market surveillance workflows.
• Knowledge of the digital-asset industry and products offered by digital-asset exchanges.
• Understanding of market structure and order-book dynamics.
• Working knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong integrity, sound professional judgment, and escalation ability.
• Self-motivated, proactive approach with ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate potential market abuse such as wash trading, spoofing, layering, and other related activities.
• Review and analyze surveillance alerts using industry-leading tools.
• Produce thorough investigations supported by clear evidence and documented conclusions.
• Use data and research to conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Central Compliance, and local Compliance teams to strengthen surveillance.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for alerts and investigations.
• Support priority requests and special projects in a fast-paced environment.
