Job summary

OKX is seeking an AML Investigator to join the Compliance team in the United States. The role focuses on analyzing blockchain data to identify illicit activities, money laundering, and financing risks within crypto markets.

You will conduct complex investigations, evaluate monitoring requirements, and collaborate with regulators, institutions, and law enforcement. Strong technical and analytical skills, plus knowledge of crypto protocols, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct BSA/AML investigations and operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML, KYC regulations, risks and controls.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology and crypto protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth AML investigations analyzing blockchain transactions to identify illicit activities.
• Identify process gaps and work with stakeholders to mitigate risk.
• Evaluate monitoring requirements across countries and regulatory regimes.
• Collaborate with financial institutions, regulators, and law enforcement to provide evidence for investigations.
• Stay informed on crypto industry trends and regulatory changes impacting transaction monitoring.
• Support team training and knowledge sharing.
