Alpaca is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Product to shape product analytics and drive data-informed strategy. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to turn questions into insights, define impactful metrics, and build experimentation tooling that informs what we build next for our 10M+ accounts.

This role suits someone strong in product analytics, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and wants ownership over analytics at a fast-growing broker-infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in product analytics and data science with a strong statistical background.
• Experience building experimentation tooling and paired causal analyses.
• Strong ability to influence product direction with technical and non-technical partners.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills; proficient data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Drive product analytics strategy and metric definition across onboarding, funding, trading.
• Design and build scalable experimentation tooling and governance for A/B tests.
• Define key product performance metrics and dashboards for leadership.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, and Ops to embed data-informed decisions.
• Turn data into narratives with visualizations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Foster self-serve analytics and set data-driven standards across the org.
• Mentor other data scientists and promote a data-informed culture.
