Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Staff Product Analyst in San Mateo, Los Angeles, or San Diego to lead data-driven analytics across product areas and partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance. You will build scalable measurement frameworks, guide monetization and growth strategies, and deliver actionable insights for senior leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in product analytics with advanced SQL and Python/R skills, plus experience with BI tools like Tableau.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Business, Economics, or related field; 10+ years experience.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional analytics initiatives with autonomy.
Influence product strategy and decision‑making across teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic analytics thought partner to shape product strategy.
Lead analytics strategy for complex product areas with KPIs, targets, and insights.
Own measurement and experimentation strategy including A/B testing and causal inference.
Define analytical approach for complex initiatives and translate results into recommendations.
Influence senior stakeholders with concise, data-driven narratives.
Elevate analytics capabilities and mentor analysts across teams.
