Job summary

Walters Hospitality seeks a Senior Procurement & Vendor Management Manager to build and lead the procurement function across multiple venues. This hybrid role reports to the Corporate Controller with dotted lines to the COO and regional leaders, and will establish group purchasing relationships, controls, and cost‑saving practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive purchasing, procurement, or category management experience, including at least two years supporting multi‑unit operations.
• Experience sourcing food and beverage through broadline and regional distributors with knowledge of cost‑plus pricing and supplier allowances.
• Track record of consolidating a fragmented vendor base and delivering auditable savings.
• Hands‑on experience with procure‑to‑pay or spend management software such as Ramp, Coupa, Procurify, or comparable platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills for spend analyses and data normalization.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a category sourcing calendar covering food, facilities, utilities, linen, and other spend.
• Manage group purchasing organization relationships and vendor coverage analysis.
• Run RFPs for broadline/regional distribution and create cost analyses to support negotiations.
• Maintain a consolidated vendor and item master across venues and regions.
• Administer Ramp workflows and ensure PO/invoice matching across systems.
• Lead procurement integration during acquisitions and supplier conversions.
