Job summary

Jefferson Lab is seeking a Procurement Liaison Engineer to lead coordination of technical procurements for the Electron-Ion Collider project. You will serve as the liaison between the EIC Project and the JLab Procurement Department, planning, coordinating, and monitoring all procurement activities within scope.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement, collaboration across engineering teams, and delivery of status reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement planning and contract management.
• Ability to coordinate with scientists, engineers and procurement staff.
• Knowledge of DOE FAR procurement processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities for EIC project between technical teams and Procurement.
• Provide weekly briefings on procurement issues, risks and status to leadership.
• Develop tracking systems and reports on procurement status and metrics.
• Represent JLab in collaborative procurement discussions with partner labs.
