Job summary

Vireo Systems and pH-D seeks a Senior Buyer to support procurement, inventory management, and PO processing at our Plattsmouth, NE site. You will drive supplier negotiations, cost-saving initiatives, and KPI tracking while ensuring material readiness for production.

This role requires collaboration with Production, Operations, Quality, Demand Planning, and Finance in a fast-paced environment with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing/regulated environments.
• Experience with raw materials, packaging, or production-critical materials.
• Strong supplier negotiation, PO management and KPI tracking.
• Experience with supplier scorecards and cost-saving initiatives.
• Knowledge of reorder points, safety stock, lead times, and material shortages.

Responsibilities

• Improve purchasing system to strengthen vendor relationships and reduce costs.
• Manage purchase orders, re-order points, and inventory planning.
• Develop supplier scorecards and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Finance to source materials.
• Resolve delivery, pricing, and payment issues with internal teams.
