Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking an experienced procurement leader to optimize Req-to-Pay processes, oversee PO processing, supplier onboarding, office supply and contract administration.

You will drive continuous improvements, strengthen supplier relationships, and deliver exceptional client service through operational excellence and training. The role requires 5+ years in procurement or Req-to-Pay, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with procurement systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement/Req-to-Pay experience.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of PO processing, supplier onboarding, and contract administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with training delivery ability.
• Experience with procurement systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Req-to-Pay, PO processing, onboarding, office supply fulfillment, procurement, and contract administration.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce cycle times, minimize errors, and enhance client experience.
• Identify and implement procurement solutions that drive efficiencies and cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to meet objectives.
• Analyze supplier quotations, recommend sourcing decisions, and coordinate procurement activities.
• Review procurement docs, approve invoices, verify receipts, and maintain records.
• Develop communications and training for adoption of Req-to-Pay processes and systems.
• Manage the Procurement team inbox and provide guidance to staff and clients.
• Support enhancements of procurement systems, reporting, tools, and data.
