Qualifications

• Fifteen years’ experience in Purchasing.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making ability with strong business knowledge and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Purchase critical high-dollar products with close price, delivery, and quality management.
• Act as staff advisor to the Procurement and Subcontracts Manager.
• Coordinate major quoting activities and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Plan and execute major contract negotiations with suppliers.
• Develop and implement purchasing procedures; review and suggest improvements.
• Motivate and train buying personnel and evaluate their performance.
• Communicate technical information and write business correspondence.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
